Blooming

Blooming This day I saw many blossoms erupt from the branches that seemed so bare for so long. It was a feast for bees and their motivation inspired me. A Rose for Joshua

A Rose for Joshua Today I felt that much grace was beaming down this warm day as I laid a sunny yellow petal in two year old Joshua's grave as he was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
This short life that he lived was not without blessing and love continues to live.

"Remember us when you come into your Kingdom Jesus" was spontaneously sung and I realized how every moment of our not so perfect life is an opportunity to be in God.

Growing Faith

Growing Faith My Faith

Is my faith like a sapling bending in every breeze?
Is my faith like a bush nourished by many leaves?
Is my faith like a deciduous tree blossoming in a season,
Or is it like an evergreen constant without reason?
Perhaps it is like all of these helping me to understand:
My faith grows regardless within God's right hand.

Spiritual Band Aids

Spiritual Band Aids Prayers from my pocket: these help heal my wounds. As I emptied the contents of my purse I found band aids with my prayer cards, rosaries, and metals.
It came to mind that these indeed help heal my inequities as band aids help stop bleeding.
It is Christ who heals my wounds and this little collection in my purse reminded me that my communication with him, including the intercession of saints and devotions that I have at my fingertips, keeps me well and my faith alive. Jane Continue Reading…
